When booking a hotel reservation, it is always important to book it as early as possible prior to your date of travel. This is only not because you want to be assured that there are enough available rooms in the hotel to accommodate you and your family or your friends but also because of the fact that hotel rooms tend to change from time to time depending on the availability of rooms. This means that the lesser number of rooms available, the higher the rates.

Rates can also change depending on reason. Rates during peak season in the area are higher than the rates during the off peak season. Holiday and week end rates also tend to be higher than the ordinary weekday rates. Of course, rates also vary depending on the type of the room you want to reserve. Suites tend to have higher rates than deluxe rooms. Economy rooms tend to cost the least and presidential suites tend to cost the most.

Additional beds and amenities also tend to add up to the cost of the rates of the room. Such amenities may include coffee makers, whirlpool, the access to the internet, hair dryers, microwaves and refrigerators. The view also affects the cost of the room rate. Garden view tends to cost lower than garden front as ocean view rates are also lower than ocean front rates.
